Fifty (50) more photos of the ravishing Miss Crawford.
She had a face meant for the cinema, perhaps the most beautiful eyes and nose ever photographed, as TV Guide put it. I'd
concur. And the rest of her was pretty special, too. Maybe the camera really did see a side to her that no flesh-and-blood
lover ever saw, as George Cukor put it. Whatever the case, the result is pure magic. - D. Nowak

A Woman's Face (with Melvyn Douglas) |
This is Joan and Clark Gable in "Dance Fools Dance."
What an interesting, strong face Crawford had. Angular bone structure yet delicate. A great combination of feminine
and masculine. Her virile, earthy presence meshed well with Gable's - they generated real heat on and offscreen!
